I am based in New York, but you’ll also find me hiking through forests in Washington D.C.

I grew up in Taipei, Taiwan, living in Oregon, Washington state and Texas before landing in Southeast Asia. When I’m not working I am probably making a video, watching the latest Bulls game or making some sort of list.

In case you were wondering, I am Black, White and Japanese! :) I grew up not meeting a lot of beauty standards that are programmed into us, and though the fashion and beauty industry has come a long way since I was a kid, we still have places to go.

My mission is to make fashion accessible to people who get dressed every day but somehow do not think fashion is for them. I firmly believe you don’t need to lose weight to get that top, and you don’t need to be “this tall” to ride the fashion ride. I am here to help you curate a closet that honors the most authentic you.

As a fashion editor for The Wall Street Journal’s weekend features section “Off Duty,” I pitched, researched and wrote short features on style and fashion trends.
